The 2018 RBC GranFondo Whistler medals have arrived!
After finishing RBC GranFondo Whistler 2018 riders on September 8th will be united with a large chunk of medal hanging from their necks. It is a symbol of all the training kilometres under their feet, the extra push on training rides, and the personal goal achieved after crossing the finish line.
This years medals feature a sleek design with accents of teal and a plaid ribbon matching the 2018 Safetti kit.
For those climbing up Cypress Mountain before riding to Whistler in the Forte category, the medal is extra large and even chunkier than last years. Any guesses on the weight?

Commemorate your achievement:
Riders who choose to enter in the 5 year Age Group category, will be in the running to receive a commemorative Jukebox certificate if they place in the top 3 of their age group. In the friendly and fun Team Challenge, the top three of the men’s, women’s and mixed categories will also receive a Jukebox certificate. The team challenge is an event for anyone wanting to partake with a team of 5-8 riders.
St. Regis Cup $2500 grand prize:
For the high-calibre teams competing for glory, the St. Regis Cup presented by Robert J Macdonald features a $2500 grand prize to the winning teams of the men’s, women’s, and mixed categories. Teams placing in second and third will receive a Hy’s Steakhouse $1500 gift card and Red Truck Brewery $500 gift card respectively.
