Memories are made on days like these
It’s not the chill that runs down your spine in Stanley Park, the countdown just begun. It’s not the sight of thousands of riders sweeping majestically through the best that British Columbia has to offer, mountains and ocean and all. It’s not even the ice cold beverage that your legs and lungs have so deservedly earned slaking down your throat at Whistler’s iconic finish line festival. Not really.
What it’s truly about are the shared moments, the connections, the emotions that we’ll forever own from that moment forth. The support we give to one another, the cheers, and the homemade signs crafted in marker pen, glitter and love. The stories told, time and time again, until they’re firmly rooted in our interconnected lore through the language of adulation and pride. The togetherness we all experience when we come together to do something incredible on two simple wheels.
RBC GranFondo Whistler. Destiny is in your hands.
The event is: • Family friendly • Traffic free • All abilities • Fully supported • Charitably partnered • Largest & voted best Gran Fondo in North America

Ride on ROUVY2022 event - frequently asked questions
September 11, 2021 at 00:01am.
You can sign up via this link (inactive before Sept 11).
We work closely in tandem with the Province of BC and our stakeholders to monitor and follow all safety guidance pertaining to covid and mass participation events.
While we cannot predict the exact environment that will prevail in September 2022, we will hold the event in accordance with all Provincial Health Office stipulations to keep you and our staff and volunteers safe.
As since the start of the pandemic, our aim has been to communicate consistently and clearly with you. With the vaccination rate in Canada being one of the highest in the world, we are optimistic for the state of the event in 2022.
As it is impossible to know what the future holds, be reassured that your registration will be honoured regardless. All riders who registered for the cancelled event in 2020 are having their registration rolled over for no extra charge to their choice of 2022 or 2023. Your registration for 2022 would be treated with the same flexibility.
Since the event began in 2010, we have never made any changes to our refund policy, nor will covid cause this to happen. This also does not affect the longstanding transfers and deferrals policies
Again, we will follow all guidance issued by the Provincial Health Office as it relates to September 2022, when it becomes available.
We have previously e-mailed all 2020 registered riders with instructions to re-register. Please check your junk mail for that information. If you cannot find it, please contact [email protected]com.
You will be able to login to your CCN account, and if you had registered for 2020’s RBC GranFondo Whistler or UCI Gran Fondo World Championships Road Race, your total will be zeroed at checkout (unless changing category to another with a higher entry price, eg Medio -> Gran Fondo)
The UCI will have directly contacted you via email with further details about this. Please note that the UCI have recently expanded the qualifying criteria from the top 20% to 25% of your age group.
You can reach out to the UCI via [email protected] for any further information or clarification.
