Prizing & Age Groups

Take on your peers for prizes

What can you do? – Age groups

Instead of 10, at RBC GranFondo Whistler age categories are in 5 year increments in line with UCI standards! Challenge your fitness this year to see how much you can achieve compared to those closest to you.

Medal

Each year we work with local designers to curate medals worthy of showing off to your peers.

All riders in the Medio and Gran Fondo will receive a beautiful commemorative medal to immortalize your achievements. For the riders in the Forte, we take things a step further and bestow you with the biggest medal our producer can make – weighing in at approximately 1lb. It’s a chunker alright – and always the talk of the town.

Overall podium - 122km

The overall top 3 men and women in the Gran Fondo will have their own awards ceremony on Celebration Plaza, complete with champagne spraying.

In addition to champagne, the women’s and men’s winner of the Forte will both receive Cypress passes, thanks to Cypress Mountain.

The Silver pass is Cypress Mountain’s best value pass. It gets you Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding during the off-peak period.
