The brand new 55km Medio
We have given the Medio ride at this years RBC GranFondo Whistler a complete make-over. This 55 km ride is designed to give you more convenience and excitement. For the first time in history the ride will start and finish in Whistler. Cyclists will ride a southbound route down the Sea-to-Sky corridor, then up the scenic Callaghan Valley and back to Whistler for a majestic finish along with all GranFondo riders.
The new Medio is a fun and scenic course focused around convenience. With two Medio specific shuttles to Whistler on Friday and accommodation packages for two night stays through Tourism Whistler, wake-up feeling refreshed and enjoy a relaxed 9:15 am start on Saturday. You can also make it a family affair with with Mom riding the GranFondo route while Dad does the Medio, then ride together for the last few kilometres to the finish-line for hugs and celebrations. Plus! Riders under 19 years of age can register for only $50. We believe in fostering the love of cycling starting at a young age and throughout the family.
