How do I transfer my event entry to another rider?



The Transfer Entry Policy allows you to transfer your RBC GranFondo Whistler registration to another rider for a $100 transfer fee. Deadline for all transfers is September 5 at midnight (12:00am PST). Absolutely no transfers will be permitted after that deadline. You are able to do so by logging into your Raceroster account and following the instructions here

‍A position on a team is not included in the transfer (i.e. if you are receiving a transferred entry and want to be on a team, you must contact the team captain to add you to the team). Upgrade items purchased in the online store such as jerseys are not included in the transfer. To arrange pickup of such items, please contact info@rbcgranfondo.com. If you have technical issues or the transfer is not completed, you must contact Athlete Services at info@rbcgranfondo.com before the deadline of August 15 at noon (12:00pm PST).

Can I pay in installments?



Yes, for Canadians. As of 2025, we allow riders with a Canadian address to pay in flexible installments of 3, 6 or 12 months thanks to Race Roster and payment provider Affirm.

To take advantage, register as normal and then select Affirm as your payment option at checkout.

You will be taken to an external page to choose the length of installments, pay and confirm your registration.

Not seeing Affirm as a payment option? Installment payments are not available for those outside of Canada. In addition, if you have an outstanding payment issue with Affirm, they may deny you future service. You can still pay through credit/debit via Race Roster.

Why did you choose Affirm for installment payments?



Affirm is a proven and trusted Canadian 3rd party provider of installment-payments for goods and services, including events.

They provide:
- No impact on your credit score
- No hidden fees
- No late fees
- Bi-weekly or monthly payments from your credit/debit card
- APR between 0-30% depending on purchase amount and duration of repayments chosen.

Do you offer Loyalty rewards?



Yes! Measured from when we changed registration provider in 2023, complete the following amount of events to get:

2 years = 5% off
3 - 4 years = 10% off
5+ years = 15% off

To redeem, select your reward from the dropdown menu during registration. It will be verified and applied at checkout.

Do you offer registration insurance to protect my entry?



Through our registration partners, Race Roster, we offer optional 3rd party registration refund coverage at checkout.

Not available for previously completed registrations, including deferrals.

Can I get a refund after I register for the RBC GranFondo Whistler?



No refunds are available for any reason, medical or otherwise. However, we do recognize that unforeseen events may occur. We have created the Transfer Entry Policy and Deferral Policy to help riders who become unable to ride with us.

How do I confirm I or another rider is registered?



You can confirm your registration by searching on the Registrant Search page.

Can I send a bag to meet me at the finish line?



Yes, we will transport one bag for all registered riders to the finish line, approximately the same size as a personal item on airlines. Please pack all of your belongings in a bag and drop it off at VeloSpoke on Friday.

Please note that due to the traffic delays on the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler on event morning, there will be no bag drop at the start line except for Alta Classe riders.

Can I buy transportation for me and my bike from Whistler?



Yes, we will be offering both passenger and bike transportation (travelling separately) by bus from Whistler to Vancouver on Saturday and Sunday.

Can someone pick up my event package for me?



No – participants must come to VeloSpoke and pick up their own packages.

All riders will be asked for photo ID and to sign a waiver form if they have not done so online. If you are unable to get to VeloSpoke, please e-mail us at info@rbcgranfondo.com

Can friends and family follow the event?



Spectators are not permitted on the course and there are no safe places for spectators to pull over to the side of the road to watch. We recommend all spectators cheer riders at the Start in Vancouver or Finish in Whistler.

Can a minor ride the RBC GranFondo Whistler?



Riders 18 and under must have a permission form signed by a parent and/or legal guardian in order to participate. A “Minor Participation Form” should be completed by their parents or legal guardian to authorize participation – contact info@rbcgranfondo.com to request a copy. Minors are strongly encouraged to carry a cell phone, ride with an adult during the event, and ensure support are there to greet them at the finish area.

‍Here is the Minor Permission Form (it can also be emailed to all registered minors 2 weeks before the event).

The signed permission form must be handed in at Velospoke Package Pickup the day before the event for the youth rider to be given their Rider Package.
