Dear Riders,

Over the past several days, we’ve been closely monitoring smoke conditions across the Lower Mainland and Sea-to-Sky, working with local authorities, health experts, and event stakeholders. The health and safety of our riders, volunteers, and community remains our top priority.

We now have an update to share.

The RBC GranFondo Whistler is set to go ahead on Saturday with enhanced medical services in place to ensure the safest possible experience.

For those who choose to ride on Saturday, we’re ready and excited to welcome you with full rider support, a vibrant community atmosphere, and everything that makes this event iconic.

For those who choose not to ride on Saturday due to air quality concerns, we will be offering free deferrals to the 2026 RBC GranFondo Whistler. Your place in the GranFondo family is important to us, and we want you to feel supported in making the decision that’s right for you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we’ve navigated this evolving situation together. Whether you ride with us this Saturday or in 2026, you remain a valued part of our community.
